TTC Journey - part 1 - Appointment di Klinik Barakah,Bandar Puteri Klang

here we go..
setelah 3 tahun plus we got married, we decided to go on fertility check up.
atas saranan kawan ayiep tentang rawatan di Klinik Barakah, Bandar Puteri Klang, saya pun immediately book an appointment on last Sunday.
procedure sangat senang, pm je di Facebook Poliklinik dan Pusat Bersalin Barakah insyaAllah mesej anda akan direply.
kenapa Klinik Barakah?
selain atas sebab saranan seperti yang saya nyatakan tadi, saya nampak orang terdekat seperti kakak dan sepupu gave a good review of their service.kakak saya deliver 2 orang anak beliau disini dan she doesnt encounter any issue here despite of the nurses and doctor semua Perempuan.
insyaAllah saya pun menyimpan impian untuk bersalin disini jika ada rezeki.

OK, we set an appointment on Sunday. on weekend, klinik ni tutup pukul 1 tengahari ye. so dijadikan cerita we were the last patient there. priority on patient yg lebih severe. kami pun ok sebab takde rushing ke mana-mana. tunggu lebih kurang 1 jam.
doktor pakar,Dr Khairiah sangat-sangat bagus.
at first, dia akan tanya random question of menstrual kita,
pernah mengandung or not
kalau period ada sakit teruk ke

as for me, disebabkan pernah miscarriage dulu, beliau assume everything is fine.
so suggested buat Trans Vagina scanning (TVS) kebetulan saya dah hari ke-12 since day 1 period, to see if the is any follicle formed. sebenarnya seriau bila doc nak masukkan device tu di kemaluan kita sebab masa miscarriage dulu doc did it dalam keadaan rushing dan tak selesa sebab ada doc lelaki. so i was a bit intense. tapi kali ni dengan dr. Khairiah, beliau sangat tenang so saya lebih relax.
throughout scanning tu, dia akan describe if kita ada fibroid or cyst, saya Alhamdulillah tak ada.sebab sekarang ramai wanita diagnosed dgn penyakit tu.
and then dia akan check both sides of ovary. Alhamdulillah, ada satu dominant ovum di sebelah kiri which is a good sign.

What size is considered a mature follicle?

In a natural (unstimulated cycle) or Clomiphene Citrate cycle, mature follicle size is between 18 - 30 mm. If triggered, these cycles are typically triggered when follicle size is between 17-26mm (dependent of the practice and IVF lab). now the ovum size dah 12.5cm, so here's the math :

average 2cm/day = ovulation 9 october
average 1.5cm/day = ovulation 10 october
average 1.0/day = ovulation 11october

so average kitorang perlu bersama antara 9/10 hingga 12/10.

at the moment, doc suruh proceed with natural concieve dahulu. if tak berjaya, then only proceed with Clomid-sejenis ubat untuk memperbanyakkan bilangan dominant follicle(ovum),
the higher number of follicle, the higher chances to concieve.

if dominant follicle dah byk tapi masih tak concieve then only kite check on guy side pulak.
probably something to do with sperms mobility.

apa pun, kalau Allah kata bukan rezeki,maka bukan la rezeki kita.
yang penting kita usaha dan doa, kan?
